The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that it will remain closed for public dealing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in observance of the annual Bank Holiday.
While the SBP offices will remain operational for internal work, no public transactions or customer dealings will be conducted on this day. Commercial banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks will also observe the Bank Holiday in accordance with the SBP’s directive.

Customers are advised to complete any urgent banking transactions before the holiday or use digital banking services, ATMs, and mobile banking apps where available.
Normal banking operations and public dealing will resume on the next working day.
